We’re back in St. Pete, as you know. And we love it here. Not only do we love living in St. Pete, but we love living on our boat. After almost a year of living aboard, I’ve come to realize that I really don’t need most of the stuff in those bins we stored in my parents’ garage. As a matter of fact, I don’t even know what’s in most of them anymore. Just some clothes that I wasn’t ready to get rid of at the time, my old stamp collection, family photos, things like that. And yes, they are important to me, but I don’t miss having them. I’m glad they’re still available to me for when we’re done sailing in about 8-10 years (we think). But for right now, they’ll be happy living in the garage, and I’ll be very happy living aboard. In fact, I tell Jeff all the time that I don’t care if we never leave the dock. I’m just happy being onboard. And I’m sticking to that.
