How Much Stuff Can You Pack onto a Boat?

2020 will bring lots of exciting things for us in the boating world. We have a mile-long list of upgrades we are having Just Catamarans take care of.

I’m pretty good mechanically, but all things electricity just don’t seem to make sense to me. So I’m looking forward to learning everything about our new solar array with 1400 watts of solar panels flowing energy into our three new 300AH Lithium Ion batteries. (Yes, I do know what that means.)

And we have these new devices called “inverters” and “soft starts”. I know what they do, but I have no idea how they do it. I’ll learn.

We’re also getting a Raymarine Axiom 12 chart plotter. Our 9″ plotter worked just fine, but my 54-year-old eyes needed a larger screen. We’re installing a Wifi booster, cutting several new access panels, and renovating one of our cabins from a bedroom into a laundry/storage/utility room. YES, I AM GETTING A WASHER/DRYER!!!!!

Add to that list; upgraded VHF cable, flag halyards, folding props, a helm enclosure, aft cockpit sun shades, side curtains, and the list goes on, and on, and on, …

We should be finished in the middle of February. Then, we’ll make our way home to St. Pete where we’ll be based until October. If you know anyone who is looking to demo a Parasailor on a catamaran, ours is available until then. Just send us a message. Or, send a message just to say hi. We hope to hear from you. Happy New Year!!!
