I’ll never get enough of Mother Nature saying “Hey, look what I can do!” She never ceases to amaze me. Some days, there isn’t much to brag about. The sky is a pretty shade of blue, and puffy clouds laze their way across. The sand is warm. Nothing alarming. Nothing of note. Except it’s still incredible. Other days the sky is grey and heavy, rain spills onto the ocean and fills creeks and ponds. Hmmm, the plants need it, animals need it, we need it. Ok, still incredible.
But when something like this happens, like the picture in this post, you feel special. You feel like Mother Nature said, “See? I did this for you.”
What did I do to deserve this? Did I do some great act of kindness today? Did I change the world somehow today? Did I make someone smile today? Or, maybe, I was just in the right place at the right time. Maybe I got lucky.
Sometimes, you just don’t know. Sometimes you just have to appreciate it. Some days you just have to look at it and say, “Wow.”
